Portrait of the Kossuth Prize-winning opera singer Éva Marton in two acts A ceremonial premiere at the Uránia National Film Theatre On May 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m., the ceremonial premiere of the two-part documentary film presenting the life of the world-famous opera singer Éva Marton will take place at the Uránia National Film Theatre.

“The Voice of Passion” – A Portrait of Éva Marton in two acts provides a comprehensive picture of the Kossuth Prize-winning soprano’s exceptional career: from her musical debut in Budapest to her conquest of the world’s leading opera stages. The film recounts Éva Marton’s artistic and human journey through personal recollections, rarely seen archive footage, and professional interviews.

The two parts of the documentary build on each other and present the defining stages of the opera singer’s career, as well as the creative and personal dedication that has accompanied her international career throughout.

The gala screening offers a special opportunity for the public to be the first to see the full film and gain insight into the oeuvre and legacy of an iconic artist.

The film will be shown to the general public on MTVA in the fall of 2026.
